We regret to announce the death of Mario Bilucaglia on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 86. He was born in Monfalcone, Italy. He served in the Italian Navy for two years and kept a keen interest in anything related to sailing. He immigrated to Canada in the 1950’s where he spent his first few years in Montreal and moved to Kapuskasing where he worked as a lumberjack for Spruce Falls. He enjoyed watching documentaries, movies and television, woodworking, driving to visit family and friends, playing soccer, crossword puzzles and word finds. He is survived by his loving wife Lucia of fifty one years, his children, Maria (Larry) of Montreal, Giuseppe (Lucie) of Kapuskasing, Luigi (Sabrina) of China and Anna Teresa (Chris) of the USA, his grandchildren, Juliano, Marco, Joey, Joshua and Josiah, his sister, Vittoria of Montreal, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Eufemia (England). Visitation for Mario will be held at the Guenette Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19 beginning at 9 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Ernest Bauserman officiating. As expressions of sympathy, floral tributes are respectfully declined but donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. ©
