We regret to announce the death of Marthe Fortin on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the age of 76 years. She is survived by her husband, Lucien of Kapuskasing; 2 daughters: Mona Fortin friend of Marc Hall of Moonbeam and Joanne Maguire wife of Colin of Barrie; 2 sons: Normand Fortin husband of Christine of Kapuskasing and Marc Fortin of Kapuskasing; 2 sisters: Marcella Fortin of Kapuskasing and Marie Fortin of Alma, Québec; 1 brother, Luc Fortin husband of Simone of Kapuskasing; 8 grandchildren: Aimée, Samuel, Genève, Stéphanie, Julia, Andréanne, Patrick and André; as well as 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; four sisters: Alberte, Gabrielle, Rachelle and Alberte; and two brothers: Arthur and Antoine.

Marthe Fortin will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 22 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculée-Conception church with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children's Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©

Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents; quatre soeurs: Alberte, Gabrielle, Rachelle, Alberte; et deux frères: Arthur et Antoine.Elle aimait passer ses hivers au chaud en Floride avec ses amies et sa famille. Elle possédait un enthousiasme en temps que participante ou spectatrice pour tous les sports. Mais, elle priorisait être entourée de sa famille et ses petits-enfants.

Marthe Fortin reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette jeudi de 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 22 février, en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec Père Gilles Gosselin comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fonds des enfants du corridor du Nord. ©
