With profound sadness we announce the death of Michael "Mickey" Lamontagne on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife Louise, his children, Michelle Reid (Rob), Cara Cracknell (Steve) of Renfrew and Tyler (Sierra) of Kapuskasing, his siblings, Eddie, Jimmy (Denise) of Kapuskasing, Linda Lamontagne of Halifax, Sharon McDonald-Paquette (Al) of Quesnel, Patsy Boyer (Denis) and Kathy Tremblay (Andy) of North Bay, one sister-in-law, Judy Lamontagne of Kapuskasing, nine grandchildren, Noah, Jack, Grace, Molly, Ben, Olivia, Caleb, Lex and Exa. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Eileen, his siblings, Robert and Gerry. A golf tournament will be held in memory of Mickey on Saturday, May 21 beginning at 10 a.m. followed by a reception at the Sunshine House & Tavern beginning at 4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated. ©
