Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Michel Guertin le jeudi 11 août 2016 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 62 ans. Il fut membre des Chevaliers de Colomb, bénévole pour Canards Illimités Canada. Il aimait aller à la chasse, la pêche, jouer au crib et les Sénateurs d'Ottawa. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Ginette, ses enfants, Amy Guertin-Moser (Christopher) d'Ottawa, Kim Caron (Alain) et Renée Guertin de Kapuskasing, ses frères et soeurs, Line Ross (feu David) d'Ottawa, Jacques (Suzanne), Daniel (Carol), Marc, Yvon (Kaureen) de Kapuskasing et Sylvie Chenier (Kevin) de Kanata, ainsi que deux petits-enfants, Sarah et Sebastien. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Jeannette et René. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le mardi 16 août en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’Association canadienne du diabète ou l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner, Services régionaux de dialyse. ©

We regret to announce the death of Michel Guertin on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 62. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed volunteering for Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cribbage and cheering for the Ottawa Senators. He is survived by his wife Ginette, three daughters, Amy Guertin-Moser (Christopher) of Ottawa, Kim Caron (Alain) and Renée Guertin of Kapuskasing, his siblings, Line Ross (late David) of Ottawa, Jacques (Suzanne), Daniel (Carol), Marc, Yvon (Kaureen) of Kapuskasing and Sylvie Chenier (Kevin) of Kanata, as well as two grandchildren, Sarah and Sebastien. He was predeceased by his parents, Jeannette and René. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at the Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Sensenbrenner Hospital, Regional dialysis service would be greatly appreciated. ©
