After a courageous battle with cancer, Michele 'Mickey' Tancredi passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday September 12th at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife, Edna, two daughters, Christine Bergeron wife of Réal of Kapuskasing and Katherine Tancrdi-Murphy wife of Michel of Marathon, three sisters, Josephine Tamborri wife of Angelo of Port Colbourne, Jina Bliss of Kapuskasing and Rosie Dafoe of Burlington, two grandchildren, Danielle and Eric as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by one brother, John. The Eucharistic Celebration was held on Wednesday September 14th at 10:30 am at St Patrick's parish with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
