Life Story for
Parnell Narcisse Gregoire
We regret to announce the death of Parnell Narcisse Gregoire on Thursday, January 5 at the Extendicare Nursing Home at the age of 84. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over 36 years who took great pride in marching in the Rememberance Day parades until the age of 80. He enjoyed travelling, sharing his life with his wife and family, walking, snowmobiling, "puttering" around the house and cottage, sharing a good laugh and a great meal... any meal. He is survived his children, Dave of Toronto, Paul and Mike of Kapuskasing, Nancy Bunce (Phil) of Espanola, one brother, Phil (Debbie) of Campbellford, two step-sisters, Margaret Lehovich (Terry) of New Liskeard and Marie Gregoire of Alberta, as well as four grandchildren, Jeremy (Jenn) of B.C., Jody (Erin) of Kapuskasing, Pam Bourgelas (Adrien) of Kirkland Lake and Matthew Bunce of Espanola, two great-grandchildren, Fiona and Brandon as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Elaine (nee Picotte), four brothers, Lucien, Charles, Edward and Palma, one sister, Rita Maher. Parnell Gregoire will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9th at St Patrick's Church at 10:15 a.m. with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. Spring burial to follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
