We regret to announce the death of Peter Sheehey on November 30, 2011 at Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 88 years. He was a trapper as well as a commercial fisherman. He is survived by his sister, Gladys Ouellette of Rockland; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Lionel and Leslie Sheehy; two sisters: Anna-May and Jenny; and one brother, Mike. A graveside service will be held at the Strickland Cemetery in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
