We regret to announce the death of Philippe Gauthier on January 19, 2011 at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his wife, Madeleine; two sons: Daniel husband of Ida of Niagara Falls and Yvon of Sudbury; four daughters: Beatrice Gauthier of Vancouver, Liliane Gauthier of Montreal, Lise Bélanger wife of Yvon and Diane Ethier wife of Vital all of Kapuskasing; four grandchildren: Michelle, Melissa, Marc and Alexandre; four great-grandchildren: Alicea, Kayla, Adèle and Ann; as well as one sister, Gisèle Grenier of Welland. He was predeceased by his parents, Eugène and Marie Gauthier; four brothers: Charles, Fernand, Maurice and Lucien Gauthier and three sisters: Simone Duquette, Yollande Martin and Léonne Landry. Philippe Gauthier will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 22nd at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculée-Conception with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children's Fund would be greatly appreciated.
