René Brunet

We regret to announce the death of René Brunet on Sunday, June 3 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 91. He is survived by two sons, Gaëtan husband of Ghislaine and Guy all of Kapuskasing, six grandchildren, Serge, Patrick, Debbie, Ken, Lee and Tammy as well as ten great grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Léonie, one daughter, Rita Blais, one son, Gaston and one sister, Léona Selbie. The funeral service was held on Wednesday June 6 ay 10:30 a.m. at Immculée-Conception church with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. Burial followed at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
