We regret to announce the death of René Albert Fraser on Monday May 4, 2009 at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing at the age of 85 years. He enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, and playing the accordion. He is survived by his wife: Géraldine Fraser of Fauquier; 3 daughters: Nicole Marcoux of Fauquier, Dorisse Fraser of Ottawa, Judith Dumais wife of Ronald of Orléans; 3 sons: Reynald husband of Line of Moonbeam, Pierre husband of Christine of Moonbeam, Claude of Timmins; 1 sister: Colette Coté of Ottawa; 1 brother; Fernand of Montréal; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers: Sylvio Fraser, Benoit Fraser and Roland Fraser. René Fraser will be resting at the Fauquier Community Center on Wednesday May 6, 2009 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM . The funeral service will be held on Thursday May 7, 2009 at Ste Agnès Church in Fauquier at 2:00 PM with Father Lucien Bouillon celebrating. Cremation will follow at the Hillcrest Crematorium, Matheson . As expressions of sympathy donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
