We regret to announce the death of René R Grenier on July 9, 2012 at his cottage in Lake St. Peter, Ontario at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Grenier of Smooth Rock Falls; 1 son: André Villeneuve husband of Paulette of Kapuskasing; 2 sisters: Fabiola Gallant husband of Roland of Smooth Rock Falls, Paulette wife of Claude Parisé of Smooth Rock Falls; 2 brothers: Uldège Grenier husband of Réjeanne of Smooth Rock Falls, Claude Grenier husband of Shirley of Smooth Rock Falls, 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 4 stepchildren: Daryn (Jill) Lehoux of Kingston, Tamara Morgan wife of Greg of Brampton, Trevor Lehoux of Taiwan, Mike Lehoux (Krystle) of Canningtonas well as 8 step grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time in the garage. René Grenier will be resting at the Ste-Gertrude parish hall in Smooth Rock Falls on Thursday July 12, 2012 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13th at Ste-Gertrude church in Smooth Rock Falls at 10:30 AM with father Richard Fortin officiating. Burial will follow at the Smooth Rock Falls Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to I.M.S. Clinic and Lab 302-80 Aberdeen St., Ottawa, Ontario K1S 5R5 would be greatly appreciated. ©
