We regret to announce the death of Rhéal Veilleux on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the North Centennial Manor at the age of 77. He was employed at Spruce Falls for 34 years before retiring in 1991. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at his cottage and travelling. He is survived by his wife Sally, three children, Daniel (Lorraine) of Kapuskasing, Ginette Carrière (Gaëtan) of Timmins and Marc (Stéphanie) of Ottawa, two brothers, Gaëtan (Carmelle) of Kitigan and Lauréat of Kapuskasing, nine sisters, Diane Robert (Jean-Guy), Hélène Robert (Roger) of Moonbeam, Reine Poulin, Mireille Gervais (Gilles), Gisèle Boyer, Yollande Robitaille (Jacques), Pauline Cloutier (Émilien) of Kapuskasing, Liliane Charpentier of Timmins and Suzanne Ouimette of Ottawa as well as four grandchildren, Katia Veilleux of Ottawa, Guylaine Duchesne (Jason), Chantal Lauzon (Luc) and Alain Carrière (Caroline) of Timmins, three great-grandchildren, Abygail, MecKenzie and Daxton. He was predeceased by his parents Marie-Anna and Alfred Veilleux. Rhéal Veilleux will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday April 23 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 24th at the Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Spring burial to follow at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
