We regret to announce the death of Rita Bernard on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 77 years. She is survived by one son, Lorice husband of Sylvie of Kapuskasing, five daughters, Suzanne Golden wife of Mike, Sylvianne D'Aoust wife of Sylvio Caissie all of Opasatika, Johanne Cartier wife of Michel of Angus, Pauline Brooks wife of Donald of Kapuskasing and Claire Migneault of Arnprior, one sister, Alice Bernard of Kapuskasing, four brothers, Cyrille Vallée of Senneterre, Henri Vallée from Lac St-Jean, Georges Vallée of Shawinigan and Paul Vallée of Chibougamau; as well as 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a 14th great grandchild expected shortly. She was predeceased by her husband, Réal, two sons, Serge Bernard and Paul Bernard, one grandson, André D'Aoust, three brothers, Jacques Vallée, André Vallée and Rena Vallée, two sisters, Lisa Vallée and Simonne Charron; two son-in-laws, Germain Migneault and Rhéal D'Aoust. A memorial service for Rita Bernard will be held at a later date with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to House of Kin would be greatly appreciated.
