We regret to announce the death of Rita Haché on Friday, December 16 at the North Centennial Manor at the age of 86. She was a founding member of the Kapuskasing Disability Resource Centre for Independant Living. She enjoyed playing cards, scrabble, knitting and making arts and crafts. She is survived by her husband, Césaire, four children, Anne-Marie Bédard, June-Louise Lucchetta wife of Mike of Kapuskasing, Jean-Robert husband of Louise of Alliston and Yvon husband of Debra of Toronto, one sister, Émilienne Boudreau of Sudbury, two brothers, Ernest Savoie and Gérald Savoie of Pokemouche, N.B., as well as ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two children, Césaire Jr. and Paulette Dubeau as well as many brothers and sisters. Rita Haché will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday December 19th from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 20th at the Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated.
