We regret to announce the death of Rémi Néron on September 11, 2010 at Sensenbrenner Hospital Kapuskasing at the age of 67 years. He enjoyed fishing and baseball but his real passion was hockey and spending time at the arena and with his friends at the mall. As well, he served in Cyprus from 1962 – 1965. He is survived by one sister, Annette Gagnon (Lomer) of Fauquier, five brothers, Gilles, Aimé (Rita), Rhéal (Carmen) and Gaston all of Kapuskasing and Éloi of North Bay as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by six brothers, Laurent, Yvan, Floriant, Royal, Richard and Paul-Émile. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 15th at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church at 2:00 p.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Kidsport Kapuskasing would be greatly appreciated.
