Passed away on December 9, 2001

We regret to announce the death of Roger Vaillancourt on Sunday December 9 at the Sensenbrenner hospital at the age of 66. He is survived by his wife; Denyse Savard-Vaillancourt, two step-sons; Daniel Savard husband of Suzanne Pelletier of Kapuskasing and Michel Savard husband of Karen Landry of Stittsville, his mother; Alphonsine Vaillancourt of Scott Junction, five sisters; Rachel Vaillancourt and Claire Côté of Scott Junction, Quebec, Jacqueline Gagnon of Beauport, Rollande Godbout of Charlesbourg and Sister Edith Vaillancourt of Quebec, Quebec, one brother; Jean-Louis of Quebec, Quebec as well as three grandchildren; Lise , Marc and Amanda. The Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday December 12 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Interment followed at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sensenbrenner hospital would be appreciated.
