We regret to announce the death of Rolande Lafleur on Saturday, February 11 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 75. She enjoyed weaving, cooking, knitting and making arts and crafts. She is survived by her husband Gérald of Kapuskasing, three children, Danielle Groves wife of Robert of Ottawa, Denise Lafleur of Connecticut and Claude husband of Caroline of Sioux Lookout, four sisters, Jeannette Ménard of Ottawa, Lucie Desjardins of Kapuskasing, Rita Blais of Welland and Adèle Aquino of Sault-Ste-Marie as well as thre grandchildren, Josée, Stéphanie and Nicholas. She was predeceased by two brothers, Guy Filion and Simon Filion. Rolande Lafleur will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday February 13 from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at the Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Cremation to follow at the Hillcrest Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
