We regret to announce the death of Rolande Scafe on Wednesday May 28 at the Sensenbrenner hospital at the age of 70. She is survived by four daughters; Shirley Stanbury wife of Thomas, Florence Millette wife of Noel, Nancy Scafe and Elaine Larouche wife of Guy all of Kapuskasing, one son; Gary husband of Lucia Hebert of Kapuskasing, one sister; Aurore Ricard of Kapuskasing, two brothers; Larry Duquette of Ottawa and Jean-Guy Duquette of Wawa as well as ten grandchildren; Tammy, Angela, Marilyn, Clayton, Amanda, Jennifer, Kurtis, Lanan, Katryna and Stefany. She was pre-deceased by her husband Irving, one sister; Gertrude Forget and one brother; Val Duquette. The funeral servive was held on Friday May 30 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Guenette Funeral Home with Reverend Susan Best presiding. Interment followed at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
