We regret to announce the death of Shigeo “Sliver” Ichikawa on July 11, 2010 at the age of 85 years. He is survived by one brother, George Ichikawa husband of Kathleen of Thunder Bay; one sister, Tye Kurio of Ottawa; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Iwataro and Fusa Ichikawa; three brothers: Minoru, Massey and Robert Ichikawa and one sister, Kay Omoto. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Thunder Bay. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
