Passed away on February 9, 2002

We regret to announce the death of Velma Russo on Saturday February 9 at the Smooth Rock Falls hospital at the age of 78. She is survived by two sons; Michael Russo husband of Linda and Joey Russo all of Oshawa, three daughters; Nadine Raposo and Marie Burden wife of Paul all of Cambridge, Deloris Pringle wife of Neil of Fauquier, two step sons; Michael and Joe Jr. all of Oshawa, two step daughters; Mary Jean Leblanc wife of Terry of Oshawa and Carol Hersey wife of Lloyd of Guelph, one brother; Walter Maeck of South River as well as fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her spouses; Oscar Mazerolle and Joseph Russo, two sisters; Mary and Evelyne, four brothers; Bob, Walter, Karl and Gordon Maeck. At the family`s request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place at the Hillcrest Crematorium and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 16 at 11:00a.m. in Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the
Asthma Society would be appreciated.
