We regret to announce the death of Vincent Bélanger on Friday, February 10, at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 82. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife Lucette of Strickland, two children, Daniel husband of Yvette of Smooth Rock Falls and Mona Bélanger-Timmins wife of James of Fauquier, three sisters, Avinal Tremblay of Rivière-Rouge, Valérie Bélanger of Laval and Viola Petit wife of Germain of Strickland, as well as three grandchildren, Tammy wife of René, Milaine companion of Wes and Tiffany-Anne, three great-grandchildren, Renelle, Mathieu and Austin. He was predeceased by on brother, Wilfrid Bélanger, three sisters, Pauline Nanton, Lola Sauvé and Lorraine Hachez. Vincent Bélanger will be resting at the Fauquier community centre Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14th at the Ste-Agnès church in Fauquier at 3:00 p.m. with Father Jean-Guy Mailloux officiating. Cremation to follow at the Hillcrest crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
