We regret to announce the death of Yvette Bernier Wednesday, July 7 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her husband Antoine Bernier of Smooth Rock Falls; her brothers and sisters: Simone Pallot (Aurèle) of Notre-Dame-des-Érables, N.B., Louis-Georges Thériault (Jeannine) of Bertrand, N.B., Joseph-Daniel Thériault (Liliane Perry) of Halifax N.S. as well as many nieces and nephews, broters-in-law and sisters-in-law. She enjoyed knitting and making rosaries and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and U.C.F.O. Yvette Bernier will be resting at the Smooth Rock Falls Parish Hall on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Ste-Gertrude parish with Father Richard Fortin officiating. Burial will follow at the Smooth Rock Falls Cemetery. As expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
