We regret to announce the death of Yvonne Caron on August 28, 2011 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 79 years. She is survived by 6 sons: Gilles Caron partner of Lise of Kapuskasing, Noël Caron husband of Louise of Ottawa, Denis Caron partner of Gabrielle Lepage of Virgil, Gaëtan Caron husband of Carole of Ottawa, Jean Caron husband of Jane of Kapuskasing, André Caron of Val Rita; 3 daughters: Carole deMontigny of Kapuskasing, Hélène Caron-Gervais wife of André of Ottawa, Ginette Levesque wife of Maurice of Elmira as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Hilaire Caron(1979) and 1 sister Rhéa Leroux. She was a member of CWL, the Legion Auxiliary, the Golden Age Club, enjoyed lawn bowling, volunteering and spending time with her family. Yvonne Caron will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday August 31 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 1st 2011 at Immaculée-Conception church in Kapuskasing at 10:30 AM with Father Filles Gosselin officiating. Burial will follow at the Moonbeam Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimers Society of Timmins-Porcupine would be greatly appreciated.
