Hello, I met Rene in Lindsay on the GIS course. He always made me laugh and smile. That first semester we were all so scared about exams and Rene with his crazy sense of humour reminded all of us that he was the oldest, it had been longer since he had written an exam....so it was really bad for him. There are four or five of us who took that course together and feel a bond because of it. That bond was strengthened during my many phone calls to the NRVIS support desk. Rene was a beautiful, thoughtful and very funny man. I will miss him. My thoughts are with you and I hope as time passes you are flooded with memories.
